PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. This market tracks the volume of posts Ted Cruz publishes on X during a specific seven-day window in May 2026. The resolution mechanism counts main feed posts, quote posts and reposts, excluding replies unless they appear on the main feed itself. The xtracker.polymarket.com tool will serve as the definitive source, capturing posts within approximately five minutes of publication even if subsequently deleted.
Cruz has maintained a substantial social media presence throughout his Senate career, typically posting multiple times daily across various topics including legislative updates, political commentary and constituent engagement. Historical patterns suggest his posting frequency varies considerably depending on legislative calendar intensity, campaign activity and breaking political events. During routine legislative weeks, his output tends toward the lower end of typical senator activity; during periods of heightened partisan conflict or personal political campaigns, posting volume increases markedly. The current 0% implied probability on the order book reflects either extreme confidence in minimal activity during this specific window or insufficient liquidity to establish a meaningful price.
Traders should monitor the Senate legislative calendar for May 2026, as recess periods typically correlate with reduced posting activity, whilst active floor sessions and committee work often drive higher engagement. Any announcement of Cruz's involvement in significant political events—whether campaign-related, legislative or media-driven—would likely influence expected posting behaviour. The resolution window's timing relative to the 2026 midterm election cycle and any concurrent Senate business will be material factors in determining actual post volume.

This market settles from the official outcome published at https://x.com/tedcruz. A proposer submits the final result to the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon; the two-hour dispute window closes and payouts clear in USDC.
The mechanics for trading "Ted Cruz # posts May 5 - May 12, 2026?" are the same as any other PolyGram political event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$33K in lifetime turnover and $3K of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for politics contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
Last 24 hours alone saw $7K in turnover, well above the lifetime daily-average for this market — a clear sign of news catalysing trader activity right now.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
