| Bitcoin ETF Flows on May 8? | 0% YES | 100% NO |
Bitcoin spot ETFs in the United States will either attract or repel net capital flows on Friday, 8 May 2026. The market settles based on whether aggregate inflows across all Bitcoin ETF products exceed outflows that day, as recorded by Farside Investors. A zero-flow outcome triggers a 50-50 split. The current order book on Polymarket prices positive flows at essentially zero probability, suggesting traders expect net redemptions or flat activity on that specific date.
Bitcoin ETF flows have historically exhibited substantial daily volatility, with single-day swings ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars depending on market sentiment, macroeconomic conditions and spot price movements. Positive flow days typically cluster around periods of price strength or positive regulatory developments, whilst negative flows often accompany sharp price declines or broader risk-off sentiment in equities. The 0% implied probability reflects either a structural expectation of outflows on that particular Friday or extreme uncertainty being priced as a baseline rejection of positive flows.
Traders monitoring this market should track Bitcoin's price trajectory in the weeks preceding 8 May, Federal Reserve communications affecting risk appetite, and any major regulatory announcements regarding cryptocurrency policy. Institutional positioning data and options expiry calendars may signal whether large players are rotating positions. The settlement depends entirely on Farside Investors' published totals across all ETF providers, with data finalisation occurring once all providers report, or by 12 PM ET two days after the settlement date if any provider remains unreported.

The mechanics for trading "Bitcoin ETF Flows on May 8?" are the same as any other PolyGram crypto-price event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$125 in lifetime turnover and $0 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for crypto contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
