PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.

The Japan B League championship will be determined through the 2025–26 season, concluding before the settlement deadline of 7 June 2026. The B League operates as Japan's top-tier professional basketball competition, organised into two divisions with playoffs determining the champion. The current 48% implied probability on Polymarket's order book reflects moderate confidence in the listed team's prospects, formed through active trading across the platform's liquidity pools.
Historical context suggests B League championship odds correlate strongly with regular-season performance and playoff seeding. Teams finishing in the top four typically command significantly higher win probabilities, whilst mid-table finishers rarely exceed 15–20% implied odds. The league has demonstrated competitive balance over recent seasons, with champions emerging from both divisions. Current market pricing at 48% indicates traders view this team as a genuine contender—likely positioned within the top-four conversation or possessing recent momentum that justifies above-average odds relative to field strength.
Key catalysts for probability movement include the completion of the regular season (typically concluding in March), playoff bracket confirmation, and head-to-head matchup results against rival contenders. Injuries to core roster players, coaching changes, or mid-season trades could materially shift expectations. Traders should monitor official B League announcements regarding schedule adjustments or format changes, though the league has maintained consistent championship protocols. The settlement window's closure on 7 June provides approximately two months post-championship for official confirmation, reducing administrative risk.

The mechanics for trading "Japan B League: Winner" are the same as any other PolyGram sporting event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$729 in lifetime turnover and $13 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for sports contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for around a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
