Resolution criteria on PolyGram: This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.
Market outcomes
| HYPE Up or Down - May 6, 4PM ET | 0% YES | 100% NO |
This market captures the directional movement of HYPE/USDT during a single hourly candle on Binance, settling based on whether the closing price meets or exceeds the opening price at 4PM ET on 6 May 2026. The 0% implied probability reflects the current order book positioning on Polymarket, where no traders have yet committed capital to backing an upward move within that specific hour.
Hourly crypto price movements typically exhibit minimal predictability beyond technical microstructure and order flow dynamics. Historical analysis of single-hour candles across major altcoin pairs shows roughly 50% closure rates above open in neutral market conditions, with deviations driven primarily by scheduled announcements, liquidation cascades, or coordinated trading activity. The current zero probability suggests either extreme bearish sentiment toward HYPE specifically or simply insufficient liquidity and trader interest in this particular contract at present.
Traders monitoring this market should track HYPE's broader ecosystem developments and Binance futures volume patterns in the days preceding the settlement window. Any protocol updates, exchange listings, or significant whale accumulation detected on-chain could shift positioning materially. Additionally, broader cryptocurrency market volatility—particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum movements—often correlates with altcoin hourly candle direction. The settlement window closes at 9PM ET, providing a three-hour buffer after candle close for Binance data finalisation, though this timeframe carries standard execution risk inherent to spot-futures basis trades.
