| Dogecoin Up or Down - May 13, 2AM ET | 50% YES | 50% NO |
This market tracks whether Dogecoin closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a single hourly candle on Binance's DOGE/USDT pair, beginning 13 May 2026 at 2AM ET. The settlement window closes at 7AM ET, capturing a five-hour window that encompasses early Asian trading hours transitioning into European market open. Resolution depends on the finalised candle data from Binance, with the close price compared directly against the open price for that specific 1H interval.
The current 50% implied probability reflects equilibrium pricing on Polymarket's order book, suggesting traders perceive roughly equal odds of upward or downward movement during this particular hourly period. Historical hourly candles for Dogecoin show typical intraday volatility ranging between 2–5% during low-liquidity Asian hours, though directional bias often depends on preceding session closes and overnight news flow. Single-hour binary outcomes at 50% probability typically indicate genuine uncertainty rather than strong directional conviction from the market.
Traders should monitor overnight developments in broader cryptocurrency markets, particularly Bitcoin's trajectory during Asian hours, as Dogecoin exhibits strong correlation with BTC price action. Regulatory announcements, social media catalysts, or macroeconomic data releases scheduled between 2AM and 7AM ET could influence intraday momentum. The specific timing captures a transition period where Asian retail trading activity overlaps with institutional European market entry, potentially creating volatility spikes that could favour either outcome depending on overnight sentiment shifts.
Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency created by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, who decided to create a payment system as a joke, making fun of the wild speculation in cryptocurrencies at the time. It is considered both the first "meme coin", and more specifically the first "dog coin". Despite its satirical nature, some consider it a legitimate i
This market settles from the official outcome published at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT. A proposer submits the final result to the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon; the two-hour dispute window closes and payouts clear in USDC.
The mechanics for trading "Dogecoin Up or Down - May 13, 2AM ET" are the same as any other PolyGram crypto-price event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$0 in lifetime turnover and $398 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for crypto contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
As of today, traders on Polymarket price this outcome at 50%. The number updates continuously as the order book clears. PolyGram mirrors the same live odds with locale-aware formatting and USDC settlement.
