PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.

On 6 May 2026, the highest temperature recorded at Ben Gurion International Airport will fall into one of several defined ranges. The market settles using NOAA's official temperature readings, with resolution determined by the peak daily temperature in Celsius. The 0% crowd-implied probability reflects current order book positioning on Polymarket, where no traders are presently backing any specific temperature band at meaningful size.
Tel Aviv's May climate typically sees maximum temperatures between 26°C and 32°C, with historical May averages around 28–29°C. The 0% probability across all ranges suggests either thin liquidity in early market formation or that traders are awaiting additional information before committing capital. May weather in the eastern Mediterranean is relatively stable compared to winter months, with heat waves possible but not the dominant pattern. Comparable May days at Ben Gurion show occasional peaks above 30°C during warm spells, though sustained extreme heat is less common than in June or July.
Traders should monitor seasonal weather pattern forecasts as May 2026 approaches, particularly any signals of early summer heat waves affecting the Levantine region. The Mediterranean Oscillation and broader North African pressure systems influence spring temperatures in Israel. As the settlement date draws closer, meteorological forecasts from established services will provide increasing precision, likely triggering order book activity and probability shifts. Current zero probability may simply reflect the market's nascent stage rather than genuine consensus that no temperature outcome is possible.

The mechanics for trading "Highest temperature in Tel Aviv on May 6?" are the same as any other PolyGram event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$60K in lifetime turnover and $0 of resting liquidity puts this market in the above the median by volume for weather contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
