Resolution criteria on PolyGram: This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the SOL/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the SOL/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance SOL/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.
Market outcomes
| Solana Up or Down - May 13, 2PM ET | 50% YES | 50% NO |
This market settles based on whether Solana's price on Binance's SOL/USDT pair closes higher than or equal to its opening level during the one-hour candle beginning at 2PM ET on 13 May 2026. The 50-50 implied probability reflects genuine uncertainty about intraday directional movement across a five-hour settlement window. On Polymarket's order book, this even split suggests traders see no systematic bias favouring either upside or downside momentum during that specific hourly period.
Hourly candle resolution markets for major cryptocurrencies typically cluster around 45-55% probabilities when no imminent catalysts exist. Solana's historical volatility and its role as a liquid, actively traded asset mean single-hour price moves are genuinely stochastic; comparable one-hour SOL/USDT markets have shown that without scheduled announcements or macroeconomic releases, directional conviction rarely exceeds 55-60% on either side. The current 50% reading aligns with this pattern of minimal edge.
Traders monitoring this candle should track any scheduled ecosystem announcements from the Solana Foundation or major ecosystem projects during the settlement window, though such events rarely coincide precisely with hourly intervals. Broader cryptocurrency market movements—particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum price action—typically exert the strongest influence on SOL intraday direction. Regulatory news or major exchange announcements could shift implied probabilities materially, though the five-hour window is relatively short for such developments to crystallise. Binance's own platform stability and order flow patterns during US afternoon trading hours will ultimately determine execution dynamics.

This market settles from the official outcome published at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT. A proposer submits the final result to the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon; the two-hour dispute window closes and payouts clear in USDC.
The mechanics for trading "Solana Up or Down - May 13, 2PM ET" are the same as any other PolyGram crypto-price event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$0 in lifetime turnover and $782 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for crypto contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
As of today, traders on Polymarket price this outcome at 50%. The number updates continuously as the order book clears. PolyGram mirrors the same live odds with locale-aware formatting and USDC settlement.
