For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Ultra Prime and LNG Esports are scheduled to contest a best-of-three League of Legends match within the LPL Group Nirvana on 8 May at 05:00 ET. The current orderbook on Polymarket reflects a 100% implied probability for resolution, suggesting either near-certainty in one outcome or minimal liquidity depth at current pricing. This extreme probability typically emerges when one team carries substantial favourability in market perception, though such pricing often compresses as match day approaches and additional information surfaces.
LNG Esports enters as an established LPL franchise with consistent playoff appearances and international tournament experience, whilst Ultra Prime represents a newer or lower-seeded roster within the regional structure. Historical precedent in LPL Group Stage matches shows that favourites priced above 95% frequently see modest probability shifts in the final 48 hours as traders reassess roster form, recent scrim results, and patch-specific champion pools. The settlement window closes at 15:00 UTC on 8 May, providing a narrow window for live-match resolution.
Key variables for traders include confirmation of both rosters' availability and any last-minute roster changes announced by either organisation. The LPL maintains strict scheduling protocols, making cancellations unlikely absent unforeseen circumstances. Monitor official LPL communications and team social channels for injury reports or administrative delays. Patch timing relative to the match date may also influence champion viability; any significant balance changes in the week prior could alter strategic preparation and team confidence levels.
This market settles from the official outcome published at https://www.twitch.tv/lplenglish. A proposer submits the final result to the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon; the two-hour dispute window closes and payouts clear in USDC.
The mechanics for trading "LoL: Ultra Prime vs LNG Esports (BO3) - LPL Group Nirvana" are the same as any other PolyGram event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$1.7M in lifetime turnover and $0 of resting liquidity puts this market in the top 2% by volume for esports contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
Last 24 hours alone saw $1.6M in turnover, well above the lifetime daily-average for this market — a clear sign of news catalysing trader activity right now.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
Resolution is sourced from https://www.twitch.tv/lplenglish. Settlement is executed by the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon, with a 2-hour dispute window before payouts clear.
This prediction market is scheduled to close on 8 May 2026. After the resolving event occurs, settlement typically clears within 24 hours once the UMA optimistic oracle confirms the outcome. All payouts are in USDC on the Polygon network.
