Bitcoin spot ETF flows on Monday, 18 May 2026 will determine whether net investor activity across all listed Bitcoin exchange-traded products is positive or negative for that single trading day. Bitcoin ETF daily flows have historically oscillated between positive and negative across the weekly cycle, with no consistent directional bias on Mondays. Since the introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024, daily flows have ranged from substantial inflows exceeding $500 million to outflows of similar magnitude, often driven by macroeconomic releases, Federal Reserve communications, or price momentum. The 50-50 split on Polymarket's order book reflects this historical volatility; traders have found no reliable pattern to exploit for Monday flows specifically.
Catalysts shaping flows on 18 May will include any scheduled economic data releases that week, Bitcoin's price action in the preceding days, and broader risk sentiment across equities and commodities. Geopolitical developments or central bank communications in the preceding week could shift institutional positioning. Traders should monitor weekend price movements and any announcements from major asset managers regarding their Bitcoin allocation strategies, as these often precede observable flow patterns on the following trading day.

The mechanics for trading "Bitcoin ETF Flows on May 18?" are the same as any other PolyGram event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$0 in lifetime turnover and $8 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for daily contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
As of today, traders on Polymarket price this outcome at 50%. The number updates continuously as the order book clears. PolyGram mirrors the same live odds with locale-aware formatting and USDC settlement.
