Resolution criteria on PolyGram: This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.
Market outcomes
| HYPE Up or Down - May 7, 10PM ET | 0% YES | 100% NO |
This market tracks whether HYPE/USDT closes higher than or equal to its opening price during the one-hour candle beginning 7 May at 10pm ET on Binance futures. The 0% implied probability on Polymarket's order book reflects near-certainty amongst current traders that the hourly close will fall below the open, though such extreme probabilities often indicate sparse liquidity rather than consensus conviction. The settlement window extends to 8 May at 3am UTC, providing a narrow resolution window tied directly to Binance's finalised 1H candle data.
Hourly cryptocurrency price movements typically exhibit mean-reversion characteristics within volatile trading sessions, particularly for lower-liquidity altcoins. Historical patterns suggest that extreme probability skews in directional hourly markets often reflect recent price action rather than forward-looking catalysts—a trader observing 0% YES pricing should consider whether the preceding hours showed sustained downward momentum or whether the probability simply reflects the last few minutes before market settlement. HYPE's trading volume and volatility profile on Binance will determine how much weight to assign to this snapshot.
Traders should monitor HYPE's broader market conditions during the settlement window, including any announcements from the project team or shifts in altcoin sentiment. Binance's order flow and funding rates for HYPEUSDT futures may signal whether the current bearish lean reflects genuine selling pressure or positioning ahead of the candle close. The tight one-hour timeframe means macro catalysts matter less than microstructure—watch for volume clusters and support levels near the open price.
