Resolution criteria on PolyGram: This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
PolyGram is an on-chain prediction market where you trade YES or NO outcome shares with real USDC on Polygon. For this market, buy YES if you believe the event will happen, or NO if you think it won't. Your maximum loss is your stake — winning shares pay $1.00 each at resolution. Unlike sportsbooks, there is no house edge: prices are set by supply and demand from other traders and reflect the crowd's real-time probability.
Market outcomes
| HYPE Up or Down - May 2, 9PM ET | 0% YES | 100% NO |
This market tracks whether HYPE/USDT closes higher than or equal to its opening price during the one-hour candle beginning 2 May at 9PM Eastern Time on Binance. The settlement window closes 3 May at 2AM ET, allowing roughly five hours after candle close for price data finalisation. Currently, the Polymarket order book reflects zero probability for an up movement, suggesting traders are pricing in a down close with near-certainty. This extreme skew typically emerges when either significant selling pressure is anticipated or when the market has already priced in a directional bias ahead of the specified window.
Hourly candle resolution markets on crypto pairs often exhibit mean-reversion patterns following sharp directional moves, though HYPE's trading history and volatility profile remain relevant context. Tokens with lower liquidity or recent listing status tend to show wider intraday swings, making single-hour predictions particularly sensitive to order book depth and execution timing. The zero per cent implied probability suggests the order book currently contains no bids for an up resolution, meaning any trader seeking to back an up close would need to place a new bid or accept existing down offers.
Traders should monitor HYPE's trading volume and any protocol announcements scheduled near the resolution window. Binance's futures funding rates and open interest levels can signal positioning ahead of the candle, whilst broader crypto market movements—particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum price action—often correlate with altcoin hourly performance. The five-hour settlement window provides sufficient time for data verification, though traders should confirm Binance's official 1H candle close rather than relying on real-time price feeds.
