| Dogecoin Up or Down - June 1, 2PM ET | 0% YES | 100% NO |
This market tracks whether Dogecoin closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a single hourly candle on Binance's DOGE/USDT pair on 1 June 2026 at 2PM ET. The resolution hinges on comparing the close and open prices for that specific one-hour window, with data finalised directly from Binance's charting interface. The 0% implied probability currently reflected on Polymarket's order book suggests the market has priced in an expectation of downward movement during this particular hour, though such extreme probabilities often indicate thin liquidity or limited order book depth rather than certainty.
Hourly directional markets on individual cryptocurrencies typically exhibit high variance, with historical comparable cases showing that single-hour candles rarely settle at extremes. Dogecoin's intraday volatility patterns have historically produced roughly balanced outcomes across similar timeframes, though momentum and broader market conditions during the settlement window will be material factors. The current 0% pricing likely reflects either minimal trading activity or a specific bearish catalyst anticipated for that hour.
Traders should monitor broader cryptocurrency market movements in the days preceding 1 June, particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum price action, as these typically drive altcoin sentiment. Dogecoin-specific catalysts—including social media trends, exchange listings, or regulatory announcements—could shift intraday momentum. Macroeconomic data releases scheduled for early June and Federal Reserve communications may also influence risk appetite across crypto markets during the settlement window.
Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency created by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, who decided to create a payment system as a joke, making fun of the wild speculation in cryptocurrencies at the time. It is considered both the first "meme coin", and more specifically the first "dog coin". Despite its satirical nature, some consider it a legitimate i

The mechanics for trading "Dogecoin Up or Down - June 1, 2PM ET" are the same as any other PolyGram crypto-price event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$146 in lifetime turnover and $0 of resting liquidity puts this market in the below the median by volume for crypto contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is thin — large orders may need to be split across the book or executed as limit orders.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.
