Falcons Esport will face Shopify Rebellion in the upper bracket semifinal of the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City Play-In, a best-of-three match scheduled for 8 May at 6:30PM ET. The winner advances directly to the grand final, whilst the loser drops to the lower bracket. Currently, Polymarket's order book reflects a 100% implied probability for Falcons Esport, suggesting the market perceives this as a heavily one-sided matchup.
Falcons Esport have established themselves as a dominant force in Rainbow Six Siege competitive play, particularly in international tournaments. Shopify Rebellion, the North American representatives, have shown competitive depth but typically face an uphill challenge against top-tier international squads in major events. Historical BLAST R6 Major results demonstrate that seeding and regional strength disparities often materialise in upper bracket play, where preparation time and team cohesion become critical factors. The current probability reflects this established hierarchy rather than recent upset patterns in the tournament format.
Traders should monitor official BLAST communications regarding match scheduling confirmations and any roster changes announced before the 8 May fixture. Player availability and last-minute substitutions have occasionally affected R6 Siege matches at this level. The settlement window extends to 9 May at 04:30 UTC, providing a 22-hour buffer beyond the scheduled start time. Any significant delay beyond this window or match cancellation would trigger the 50-50 resolution clause, though such outcomes remain uncommon in established BLAST tournament infrastructure.
