Gentle Mates and ALGO Esports are scheduled to compete in a Counter-Strike best-of-three match on 27 May at 10:00 AM ET as part of the CCT Europe Series 2 Playoffs Round of 16. The market currently reflects a 100% implied probability for Gentle Mates, suggesting the order book has priced in an overwhelming expectation of their victory. This extreme probability typically emerges when one team holds a substantial competitive advantage or when liquidity remains sparse on the opposing side.
CCT Europe tournaments have historically featured competitive depth across their playoff brackets, with Round of 16 matches occasionally producing upsets when lesser-seeded teams exploit map selection or tactical preparation. The current probability warrants scrutiny against Gentle Mates' recent form, head-to-head records, and roster stability relative to ALGO Esports. Comparable matches in regional European qualifiers have occasionally settled at less extreme probabilities even when favourites were heavily backed, suggesting the 100% reading may reflect thin order book depth rather than certainty about the outcome.
Traders should monitor team announcements regarding player availability, any roster changes, or withdrawal statements in the days preceding the match. The CCT Europe Series 2 schedule and bracket confirmation remain critical catalysts; delays or rescheduling beyond the seven-day window would trigger a 50-50 resolution regardless of competitive expectation. Map pool composition and recent scrim results, where publicly available, could shift the probability if disclosed closer to match day.
This market settles from the official outcome published at https://kick.com/cct_cs2. A proposer submits the final result to the UMA optimistic oracle on Polygon; the two-hour dispute window closes and payouts clear in USDC.
For this market, the resolution date is 27 May 2026. A UMA proposer can submit the outcome from that moment; the two-hour dispute window closes at , and assuming no counter-claim is staked, winning USDC clears to trader balances by approximately .
If a dispute is filed inside the two-hour window, the outcome escalates to UMA token-holder voting, which extends settlement by roughly 48 hours. Because this market resolves from a publicly verifiable feed (https://kick.com/cct_cs2), the probability of dispute is materially lower than the overall 0.5% PolyGram baseline — most disputes occur on markets with ambiguous wording or non-public resolution sources.

The mechanics for trading "Counter-Strike: Gentle Mates vs ALGO Esports (BO3) - CCT Europe Series 2 Playoffs" are the same as any other PolyGram event contract. Each YES share resolves to $1 if the event happens, or $0 if it doesn't. The current price between 0¢ and 100¢ is the market's probability estimate, set live by the order book.
$137K in lifetime turnover and $365K of resting liquidity puts this market in the top 30% by volume for esports contracts on PolyGram. Order-book depth is exceptional — among the deepest order books in the category.
Last 24 hours alone saw $137K in turnover, well above the lifetime daily-average for this market — a clear sign of news catalysing trader activity right now.
The market has been open for under a month — fresh enough that information asymmetry remains a real factor.
Higher-volume markets tend to have tighter spreads and faster price discovery — meaning the displayed YES/NO percentages are more likely to reflect the true crowd-implied probability rather than a single trader's directional view.

Prediction-market positions can lose 100% of staked capital. Outcomes are uncertain by definition — historical accuracy of crowd-implied probabilities is high in aggregate but not for any single market. PolyGram does not provide investment advice. Trade only with capital you can afford to lose. For "Counter-Strike: Gentle Mates vs ALGO Esports (BO3) - CCT Europe Series 2 Playoffs", the considerations above apply directly — Trade size should reflect the binary nature of the payoff: even a 70% probability event resolves NO 30% of the time, so any single position can lose 100% of staked capital.
Regulatory status varies by jurisdiction. Germany, the United States, and most EU countries treat Polymarket-style event contracts under one of three frameworks: financial derivative, gambling product, or unregulated novel asset. Consult local counsel before trading.
