Question 1

What esports does PolyGram cover?

Accepted Answer

League of Legends (Worlds, MSI, LCK, LEC, LCS, LPL), Counter-Strike 2 (Majors, BLAST, IEM, ESL), Dota 2 (TI, DPC Majors), Valorant (Champions, Masters, VCT leagues), and emerging titles as they gain competitive traction.

Question 2

How are esports match markets resolved?

Accepted Answer

Markets resolve based on the official tournament bracket or match result published by the tournament organiser (Riot, Valve, ESL). Settlement happens within 24 hours of the match conclusion.

Question 3

Can I trade individual maps within a series?

Accepted Answer

Yes — best-of-three and best-of-five series have per-map markets in addition to the overall match winner market.

Question 4

Do patch notes affect market prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes — major balance patches, roster changes, and meta shifts all cause immediate price adjustments as informed traders revalue team and player strength.

Question 5

Can I use algorithms to trade esports markets?

Accepted Answer

Yes — PolyGram's API supports programmatic trading. Many esports traders build ELO models, draft-phase analysers, and player-performance trackers to identify mispriced markets systematically.

Question 6

Are esports markets liquid enough for serious trading?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the major tournaments (LoL Worlds, CS2 Majors, TI, Valorant Champions) consistently attract six- and seven-figure cumulative volumes, with spreads tightening to a few cents on match-day markets. The trader base skews younger and more data-literate than traditional sports, which produces efficient prices on roster, patch and meta information.
